Recap

After Helen was in a horrible car accident, Joanna tries to visit her, but the hospital won't allow it since she's not family.  The race is on for Joanna and Billy, with their baby in tow, to find any clue of Helen's daughter Samantha before Elise finds Helen's next of kin and presents them with the offer for Helen's land.

After searching Helen's house, they end up finding her nephew Charles, who Joanna finds attending college in the city.

Billy and his dad investigate the accident scene. From studying the tire treads and the skid marks, there were definitely two cars involved.

After only talking to him for a few minutes, she's sure he'd make a perfect guardian for Helen and takes Charles to the judge.

Taylor tries to reach one of the sex-trafficking girls named Dee. She even let her stay with her. But, then the victim still ran off again with her abusive boyfriend.

Luna is still torn between working for a large company and helping clients for free.

Soon after the judge grants Charles guardianship, Elise approaches him with Oro North 1's settlement offer, and he wants to accept. Joanna is horrified, and she and Billy return to the same judge and try to have the guardianship revoked.

The judge is rightfully confused but agrees to look into it when Billy reveals that Charles may not be a blood relative.

After their hard day, Billy and Joanna are relaxing at home with Cassidy finally. Billy proposes to Joanna, but before she can respond, the police have arrived to arrest her.
