While Jess and Bree head up to Maine so Jess can meet David's family for the first time, the rest of the family is left to step up and help out with the bed and breakfast. Something that is a bit more than difficult as Mick and Kevin are used to running the business end of things over the cooking and cleaning end. Meanwhile, Trace is doing his best to spend as much time with Abby and the girls during the short time he's going to be home before heading out on tour once again. While this seems to be going well in the beginning, things take a turn to the touchy side when the girls unintentionally insult Trace and his place in the family. A similar situation to the one Megan finds herself in as she is still having difficulties adjusting to small-town life after living in a big city for so long. Most of the family seems to be slightly concerned Megan may leave again. Everyone except for Nell and Connor. Nell is busy trying to bump into the Mayor as often as possible to convince him to see things in town her way while Connor deals with the truth about Danielle coming out.
