Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 21 sets up dramatic conflicts for the season finale.

Abrams asks Asher to look at his wife, who believes she has a urinary tract infection. However, Asher soon discovers that Michelle is pregnant. Abrams is upset -- he had a vasectomy years ago and doesn't understand how he could be a father now. Michelle is annoyed that Abrams is fixated on his vasectomy failing.

During a pelvic exam, Hannah discovers that Michelle's cervix is opening prematurely, which could cause a miscarriage. She rushes her into surgery. Abrams shows up on the observation deck and tries to interfere.

Meanwhile, Marcel can't let go of what happened to Richard Evans. He asks Grace to check the data, and she discovers it is missing. Marcel confronts Jack, saying there's a problem with 2.0. Jack says he deleted the data to protect Marcel, but gives it to him. Marcel learns he made an error while removing a hepatic lesion which led to the fatal blood clot, but WIll doesn't buy it and gives the flash drive to Grace. Grace checks and discovers something shocking -- 2.0 hallucinated a lesion that didn't exist, which was the root cause of Marcel's error.

Finally, Charles and Cuevas see David Sullivan again and Maggie tells Sharon she's actively seeking a new job and has an interview.
