Chicago Med Season 8 Episode 22 revolves around the problems with OR 2.0.

After Will and Grace show Marcel the mistake that OR 2.0 made, Marcel tries to tell Jack. But Jack won't listen. He says he doesn't want to look ridiculous and lose his IPO and this is not a complex surgery. Marcel decides to do it so that if 2.0 has a glitch, it won't throw a novice off.

Will is upset and goes to Sharon, who says she can't do anything about this as Jack now owns the hospital and has converted it to for-profit status. If he wants surgery, he can have it.

Will takes a drastic measure to prove his point, and it costs him his job. He is forced to resign, breaking everyone's hearts.

Meanwhile, Archer refuses to accept it when a woman needs emergency surgery but her insurance won't cover it. He decides to do the surgery off the books to save her life at the expense of Jack getting reimbursed, which he couldn't care less about.

Archer's kidney disease has also gotten worse, and now that Sean has fallen off the wagon he can no longer donate.
