The nine remaining couple had to choose between the waltz or jitterbug this week. Let's take a look at how each performed...
Mya & Dmitry Chaplin: A great jitterbug, but this couple has set the bar so high. and Carrie Ann Inab thought Mya was under-performed, while the trio of judges seemed to be at adds, offering up a 7, 8 and 9.
Melissa Joan Hart & Mark Ballas: This was far from our favorite waltz. Bruno agreed and bashed it, saying the actress barely looked like a dancer. Carrie Ann thought Melissa danced as if the "floor was sticky."
Mark Dacasco & Lacey Schwimmer: This was an energy-filled jitterbug. It wasn't precise, but it was fun and full of spirit. Carrie Ann offered a lot of praise.
Aaron Carter & Karina Smirnoff: The best score of the season for this pair, thanks to a slick waltz. Bruno and Carrie docked a point for an early misstep, but all agreed it was Aaron's best performance yet.
Michael Irvin & Anna Demidova: This slow dances was an improvement for Irvin, but the guy really has to go. He looks happy, but he's a terrible dancer. Bruno thought his performance wasn't "premiere league." That's putting it kindly.
Kelly Osbourne & Louis van Amstel: Not exactly overflowing with talent, but Kelly's jitterbug wa adorable. Not a lot of energy involved, though. Carrie Ann touched on the return of Kelly's confidence, but Len compared it to a "blueberry muffin with no blueberries." Well, okay then.
Louie Vito & Chelsie Hightower: Can we vote out Vito and Irvin this week?!? This tandem is nothing but Hightower doing her thing and Louie occasionally catching her. Or dropping her sometimes, of course. "Really great... other than the dropping," said Carrie Ann.
Joanna Krupa & Derek Hough: This was the most romantic waltz of the night. Tom Bergeron referred to it as the "get-a-room dance of the season." We agree!
Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson: It was hard not to be smiling throughout this jitterbug. Bruno said at times it was "like watching a steam engine trying to keep up with a gleaming bullet train." Still, these two aren't going anywhere.
Meanwhile, there was also a group Mambo. Here's a look at the overall leadboard, including the group dance:
