Episode Guide

There were a quartet of new styles for the contestants to try this week: country two-step, lambada, bolero and Charleston. Here's a rundown of who came out on top and on bottom...

Chuck Liddell & Anna Trebunskaya: Tough start for the two-step, as Chuck charming, but that was about it. He walked around a lot, while Anna spun around.picturing him two-stepping in any ol' Texas honky-tonk.
Score: 17

Melissa Joan Hart & Mark Ballas: Loved the 1920s outfits, as the Charleston is clearly a fun dance to have added. "You had the role 110 percent!" yelled Bruno Tonioli, who rewarded Melissa with her first 10 of the season.
Score: 28

Natalie Coughlin & Alec Mazo: What the heck is the bolero? We have no idea, but this pair introduced it well to viewers. "I'm kind of on the fence," Carrie Ann said, citing Natalie's struggle with the slow Latin dance. But Bruno enjoyed the Sharon Stone-in-Basic Instinct vibe.
Score: 24

Aaron Carter & Karina Smirnoff: Bad night for these two. Smirnoff landed on her knee with a thud when Carter missed the final lift. Even the typically proper Len asked for more raunch.
Score: 18

Mark Dacascos & Lacey Schwimmer: The Iron Chef America chairman performed a better two-step than Chuck, but it was still a weak effort. Bruno still liked him, though: "You should have a roll in the hay more often!"
Score: 22

Kelly Osbourne & Louis van Amstel: Kelly stole Liza Minnelli's look from Cabaret, and it worked well for her during this Charleston. Carrie Ann was amazed with the progress, saying seeing Kelly dance to "watching a little birdie getting her winds and learning to fly."
Score: 23

Joanna Krupa & Derek Hough: HOT STUFF! Derek took his shirt off for this lambada, as he and his partner almost started a fire with their crotches. "Let's just say, I hope the children were in bed," said Carrie Ann, as Tom coyly added that many adults might now be.
Score: 26

Donny Osmond & Kym Johnson: The Charleston perfectly suited Donny's inner performer. Despite one stumble, he heard mostly good comments from the judges.
Score: 24

Michael Irvin & Anna Demidova: For bolero, Irvin walked and posed a lot. That was pretty much it. Even Bruno's dig was uninspired: "Your dancing is a little bit like the economy. Every week it's supposed to be getting better, but nothing happens."
Score: 16

Louie Vito & Chelsie Hightower: Vito is not a cowboy, or a good dancer, as this two-step proved. "It was just a series of walks!" Len said. That sums it up.
Score: 16

Mya & Dmitry Chaplin: Joanna and Derek aren't the only ones who can do a sexy lambada. Mya received two more perfect scores for this routine, though Len thought he was "going to get a bit more" from them. He has high expectations.
Score: 28
