The team picks itself up after being blasted by Immortus/Isabel’s scream. Entire scene is soundtracked with “The End of the World” song.

They find themselves four miles away from Cloverton. Isabel leads the way. Rita and Rouge question whether Isabel is actually Immortus. Jane’s still mad at Cliff. Dorothy’s checking in on Casey who is still in shock that both her father, Torminox, and her creator, Wally Sage, were killed in the scream.

Deric and Vic consider the situation. Deric makes the decision to head home. He agrees that Vic can’t go back to being the old Cyborg but points out he loves the superheroing. They part on good terms.

The group discusses whether Isabel is a threat or not. Rita votes to destroy her/Immortus. Just as she gets Isabel’s attention, a truck drives up and the driver recognizes Isabel and is ecstatic that she’s been found.

The “World of Wut?” talk show reports on the recovery of Isabel Feathers after her months-long disappearance. The team watches the interview on TV from the mansion. Isabel/Immortus gives a long insane description of their time away and then apologizes for their answer. Suddenly, time skips backwards to the host’s question again and Isabel provides a very flippant vacuous answer. Only Rouge seems to notice this.

They debate the danger Isabel/Immortus poses. Cliff goes to check on the Butt in the freezer and discovers it’s gone.

Everyone continues to blame Cliff for the Immortus problem.

The World of Wut host mentions the town is planning a rescue celebration and hopes the heroes that found Isabel will attend.

Rita takes that as their in to get close to Isabel/Immortus and suggests they head into town. Jane has an outburst because the Underground is calling to her. Cliff storms off. Larry tries to convince Rita that they’ve lost and to give up.

Dorothy gives Casey a tour of the mansion, showing her Niles’s spaceship. Casey tries to be chipper and upbeat, but she’s overwhelmingly sad. Dorothy offers her her father ship so she can travel the universe again.

Casey isn’t sure a ship can fix her feelings. She tells Dorothy she needs a new mission. Dorothy tells her the mission is to save the Doom Patrol.

Larry is in his room, talking to Keeg. Suddenly, he hears Rama commenting on how depressed he sounds. A cloud of particles appears. Rama asks for Larry’s help.

Cliff hunts all around the mansion for the runaway zombie Butt. Dorothy finds him struggling to move.

Jane stumbles along an abandoned train track in the Underground. She can hear the others’ voices but she’s stuck. She cries out for help and Casey is there. Casey’s presence transports her back into the Mansion.

Jane is suspicious how Casey got in her head. She leaves her in the corridor.

Vic, Rouge, and Rita explore the hanger where preparations for the parade are happening.

When their presence pulls focus away from Isabel Feathers, Isabel has an Immortus-style tantrum. She regains her control and time flips back again to their arrival. This time, Isabel herself draws the crowd’s attention to the Doom Patrol. Once again, only Rouge notices.

Larry confides in Rama and tells him that Immortus’s promise of future possibilities was a lie.

Keeg unwraps Larry to use his radiation to reconstitute Rama.

Rama manifests and Larry pulls him into a tight embrace. They fall to the floor together.

Dorothy offers Cliff her father’s old mobility chair. Cliff is horrified by the idea. He reveals that when Niles’s ghost asked for help, he turned his back on him. This is shocking news to Dorothy.

Cliff covers for his misstep by becoming more angry and tells Dorothy to leave him alone. He storms off, leaving Dorothy in tears.

Jane finds Casey tidying her room. She’s still feeling the Underground’s effect and when Casey mentions she organized the puzzle pieces, she snaps at her. Casey tries to share Dorothy’s advice to her about grief, but Jane throws them back in her face.

Casey takes the hint and leaves, but stops to tell Jane the puzzle pieces are organized by color.

The World of Wut host has Isabel and Rita both on the show to discuss their relationship. Rita is going by her real name, Gertrude.

Rita charms the host and Isabel/Immortus takes exception, warning Rouge directly that she needs to tell Rita to turn down the charisma. Once the warning’s delivered, Isabel/Immortus resets time and manages the moment.

Rouge and Vic are invited to join the panel on the couch.

Dorothy finds Cliff stuck at the bottom of the stairs, unable to climb them due to his Parkinson’s. She tells him he has to let people take care of him so he can be there for his family.

He admits he feels that he doesn’t deserve help or love or pity.

Dorothy gives him a talking to about how important he is to the people who love him. She reminds him of the Cloverton parade and he decides to attend.

Jane finds Casey and sits with her quietly. Casey chats about how she’s feeling. Jane acknowledges and validates the feelings and invites Casey to go to the parade with her.

Larry and Rama wake up on the floor together. Rama asks Larry why he went back to Immortus. Larry tells him he needs to find somewhere Keeg can be safe.

Cliff bangs on the door and tells Larry he has to come to the parade with him. Rama encourages him to go.

Rita and Vic await the parade. She’s less into destroying Isabel now that she’s being recognized for her good deeds. She also reminds Vic that he’s destined for something bigger.

Rouge seeks out Isabel in an isolated gazebo. She admits that it was her fault Isabel ended up in the time hole. Isabel tries to brush her off. Rouge calls her bluff and addresses her as Immortus which causes Isabel to speak with Immortus’s voice and express their ire.

There’s another time reset and this time Rouge doesn’t seem to notice.

The team’s on their own float.

On the float, all the team members admit they need help. Cliff reveals the Butt got loose.

The mayor goes to talk to Isabel and informs her that she’ll be presenting the key to the city to the Doom Patrol. Isabel/Immortus thought she was being given the key and begins to get upset.

Rouge tries to warn Rita about Isabel.

At the same time, the mayor informs Isabel/Immortus that the city will be declaring it Doom Patrol Day. This causes Isabel to explode and she screams.
