Lucious makes arrangements for Bunkie's funeral, including having Gladys Knight sing. A detective comes to the office and let's Lucious know that an eyewitness has come forward and claims to have seen Bunkie's murder. 

Lucious asks Andre to track down this eyewitness through his connections at city hall. 

The eyewitness identifies Lucious to the police. 

Anika shows Lucious pictures of Cookie with the feds and he confronts her. Later, she meets with Agent Carter and the two pretend the agent is her parole officer to confuse Lucious. 

Cookies gets the agent to track down old friend Puma, a gifted songwriter who used to have a thing for Cookie. At the meeting, he agrees to give Cookie a song. 

The song is an old song once given to Lucious. At a family dinner, Jamal plays a new arrangement of the song and a fight ensues when Lucious tries to take it. Later, he meets with Jamal and after an argument, Jamal leaves the apartment Lucious pays for and vows to take over Empire for himself.
