- Tom returns to Charleston from Boston on a sail boat. Pope is concerned, but doesn't shoot him. Tom is set on getting revenge for Anne and Lexi. He approaches the military about attacking the tower in Boston.

- The Volm facility is bombed and they are all dead. Cochise is injured but is able to heal himself. Then Charleston is bombed by Lourdes. Those underground are trapped and separated from those above ground. Lourdes is injured and put in with Cochise. She attempts to kill him, but is stopped by Tom.

- Tom realizes that Lourdes is the mole and sets her up. She's captured putting an end to her immediate threat. Tom and Cochise bond over the loss of live and destruction. Tom is determined to dig out the Volm device and save the world.
