The cop who interrogated Rio over Lucy’s murder, Officer Potter, has breakfast with his daughter and eventually pays a visit to Nick at the diner. After handing over the fake money to Phoebe and connecting the dots to where Rio got the ringside tickets to use as an alibi, he confronts Nick with the information.

Dave and Phoebe tell Beth that D.C. has pulled the plug on the operation, and Beth tells the ladies they need to get out of town on their own dime.

The ladies approach Stan about selling the bags and decide to sell them during a private party alongside the strippers. However, one of the men turns out to be a cop derailing their plans.

Later, Beth blackmails the cop and gets him and other men to buy bags for their wives.

Rio tells Beth she has to get the fake money back.

Annie enlists Kevin’s help in securing financial aid so Ben can stay in school, and he later asks to move in with her after a pole hits his car.

Mick confronts Officer Potter in his home.

Beth hangs out with Phoebe, getting her drunk, and steals the fake money back, which she then gives to Rio. He then sends her a plate for Canadian money.
