It opens with a courier of some kind seemingly delivering Dennis drugs.

He tells Davia when they wake up in bed that he's working on an alternative line of revenue since the food truck isn't making much money. He's constantly on the phone and getting texts which bugs Davia as she tells him about her meeting an old friend for lunch.

Mariana has a hard time on her first day when the one manager seems to field most of the questions and take over. She also fears that people will ask her questions about Evan.

Luca starts his firth day at the dance studio and meets Riley. He has a hard time trying to follow the choreography which is discouraging for him.

Davia's friend tells her that he wants her to play the lead in his new musical and he wrote the part specifically for her. She's conflicted about it.

Mariana notices that the manager pals around too much with one team. And he tells her that he lied to everyone and they do have to lay people off.. She has to cut 25 people and she tells him that she won't sign anything until she gets to review it first.

Dylan also brings up that Evan's lawyer keeps stonewalling him when he asks about Evan's condition.

Luca learns that the dance instructor Gaelin often features dancers on her youtube channel and social media and they take offf, which inspires him.

Davia talks to Dennis about Ethan's offer,and she's scared to return to the theater world. He encourages her to go after it if she has even a bit of wondering how it'll be.

Malika leaves after the boudaries she set, and her colleague gets annoyed when she has to do the work when Lucia tosses it to her.

Mariana talks to "Evan" about whether or not she should tell everyone the truth about what happened, and he gives her advice.

Mariana talks to Dennis about layoffs. She gets an idea.

Tracy lets Malika know that she pays the price when Malika goes home.

Davia has another session with Elliott and he tells her that he may be ready for school again because of her.

Dylan tells Mariana that she's not making a smart move and is upset with who she's laying off and implies the board would be mad. He promises the guys that he'll bring them back when Mariana is gone because she won't last and she got the respect of the other employees who have been frustrated with doing all the work.

Riley tells Luca that he should consider beginner's classes because she sees he's struggling.

Malika talks to Tracy and encourages her to show everyone she has and assert herself more.

Dennis brings Davia to his new restaurant. He didn't want to tell her until he had the spot. Davia is worried about the money and investments.

Davia gives Luca a peptalk. And then she realizes that Luca may have a crush on Riley who he keeps talking about.

Malika talks to Lucia about her boundaries again.

Davia shows up for the role and meets the guys. She learns from the actors that another actress passed on the role Ethan claimed he wrote for her.

Dennis pitches his business plan to one of his old buddies who is an investor. He signs onboard. The courier delivering something to dennis was actually giving it to Dennis' invsetor friend who is a drug addict.

Lucia sends Malika last minute work and she has to cancel plans with Dom.

The doctor tells Mariana that Evan needs surgery in his spine and that's why he's still in a coma. Mariana has to make the call on whether or not they can risk the surgery on Evan.

She talks to her mothers ands asks them to come see her because she needs their help.
