Law & Order: SVU Season 24 Episode 3 deals with a clash between SVU and Organized Crime.

When a mobster named Gabe Navarro rapes a singer and then throws her down the stairs, Benson promises to get the victim justice no matter how connected Navarro is. But she quickly gets a call from Bell telling her that this is no longer her case.

Benson storms off to Organized Crime to straighten this out. Stabler shows up and says he can explain. He has been undercover for three months so she hasn't seen him. Anyway, they want to get a mob boss named Popkov and Navarro can help them do it. Benson doesn't care. Navarro is a rapist.

Benson insists on sitting in while Stabler questions Navarro. Navarro wants to make a deal. He tells them that Popkov will be in his home in Queens tomorrow. Bell isn't sure they can trust Navarro but he's looking at serious charges so they go with it. Benson demands that SVU help with the raid.

Popkov's associates are arrested but Popkov disappears. He and Navarro attempt to escape on motorcycles but get caught and Stabler ends up shooting Navarro. Benson wonders if it was staged.

Navarro is taken into Witness Protection while in the hospital. Carisi says Stabler played them. Benson defends Stabler to Rollins but Rollins doesn't think she knows Stabler anymore.

Tara is angry that Navarro has gotten away with the rape and is not impressed that Benson is not giving up.
