Law & Order: SVU Season 24 Episode 16 revolves around the rape of a woman by a partner she met on a dating app.

Zoe's best friend, Jenna, convinces her to join a dating app two years after her husband's death. Zoe meets someone named Klaus and they do kinky things together. At first, it's fun, but Zoe sys the final encounter was not fun and in fact she thinks she was raped.

The team investigates and learns that the DNA in the rape kit matches a nephew of Zoe's late husband. However, Cooper has nothing to do with the rape and has donated sperm to make extra money.

The team is at a loss until "Klaus" contacts Zoe again. They do a sting and discover that Klaus is really Jenna.

Carisi decides to prosecute under the theory that Zoe was too incapacitated to be able to consent because she didn't realize Klaus was really Jenna.

Benson tries to warn Zoe that testifying could be brutal, but Zoe says she doesn't care. On the stand, the defense springs the surprise that Zoe and Jenna had sex in college. Carisi is angry but pulls a trick of his own to try to get the case back on track.
