Kumu mentions a new client is stopping by. Katsumoto, fired from the HPD, talks to T.C. about his next move. The husband of Mrs. Macy, their new client, was killed in a car crash. But a red-light camera showed that he wasn't alone in the vehicle two minutes before the crash. She wants to know who the woman is. Thomas interrupts Rick's bonding with his infant daughter to request a couple of favors. Thomas and Juilet are busted by Chris Childs, Katsumoto's replacement, while breaking into Dr. Greg Macy's office. Childs lets them go with a warning. Magnum uses Childs' badge number to get the traffic-cam footage. Thomas has T.C. look for Buck Greene, who is missing. An SUV was following Macy. Higgins finds an acrylic fingernail in Macy's wreckage. Katusmoto visits Rick and Joy at the hospital. Rick encourages him to fight his dismissal. Magnum's ex Kimee identifies the nail as belonging to Melinda Parker. She's married to Nathan Parker, a developer with criminal ties. Melinda's phone hasn't left her house in six days. With Nathan present, Melinda denies she was with Macy on the night he died. Higgins suspects John is abusing Melinda. Macy was treating Melinda, not having an affair with her. Childs isn't receptive to their lack of hard evidence. They need to get Melinda to testify. They distract security and sneak in. Juliet convinces Melinda to leave with them. An armed Nathan catches them. Higgins takes him down and HPD surprisingly shows up. Childs knew what they would do. Greene has been abducted by men looking to hunt down Magnum's black-ops team.
