Recap

The episode kicks off with Angelina and Adrian on Flight 828.

In the present day, she's with the 828ers plotting to save themselves.

They planned to expose the NSA and takedown Mick and Ben before they destroyed everything.

Grace was reeling from Cal's disappearance. Gupta assured her this meant they had more information about the dark lightning, but Grace was being a mom and begged them to return the tail fin into the ocean.

Everyone at the NSA refused, and Commander Zimmer overruled Vance and ordered them to keep running tests on the tail fin.

Each test brought more seismic activity including earthquakes and dark lightning.

Grace went home to grab Cal's sketchbook to see if maybe he drew the answer of where they should dump the tail fin.

Olive discovered there was a drawing underneath the original, which Gupta recognized as a message to her meaning grandmother.

She immediately became a believer, turned on Zimmer, and helped them locate where they should dump the tail fin, which ended up being right in the heart of an electrical storm.

Vance explained that he got the Coast Guard to agree to take them there.

On their way, Vance was forced to retreat because the 828ers were planning an attack on his home.

Eagan and Randall took his son hostage.

Mick, Zeke, Drea, and Jared responded to the situation.

Jared and Vance went inside to mitigate the situation. When they saw an opportunity, they subdued the men and saved his son.

Jared questioned if Vance had anything to do with The Major's murder after seeing a picture of him and his army buddy, but Vance ignored the question.

Finally, Jared confronted Mick asking about Vance and Saanvi's involvement. She owned up to it, and Jared accused her of quitting the force to cover up a murder.

He then told her he didn't want to be involved with the Callings anymore, explained he had to end things with Sarah because he wouldn't base his relationship on a lie, and professed his love for Mick.

Zeke heard and felt all of it and told Mick that they had to talk.

Meanwhile, Ben and Saanvi steered the ship right into the electrical storm, but before they could dump the tail fin, the captain informed them they were turning around as they got orders from above.

Saanvi couldn't let this moment go by as she knew she was responsible, so she ran out onto the deck and attempted to cut the tail fin loose.

While she was doing that, she fell overboard and was crushed by the tail fin. Ben jumped in to rescue her and watched the tail fin glow and disappear.

He saved Saanvi. They both got a Calling and found themselves back on Flight 828. Mick was there and saw Adrian with bloody hands warning of a murder.

Cal was also in his seat and informed them that he had to go and this is the way it had to be.

He then disappeared.

Mick found the book Angelina was holding on the original flight and realized that something bad was happening in the Stone home.

Back at the house, Angelina broke in, locked Olive in her room, stabbed Grace, baptized Eden, and kidnapped her.

Grace lay on the ground bleeding to death when she saw an aged Cal, who came to say goodbye and told his mother he knew what he had to do now.

Gupta was leaving Eureka when she heard a whirring sound. She turned around to see Captain Daly in the captain's seat. He said "help me" before disappearing with the reconstructed plane.

Manifest Season 3 Episode 13 Quotes

Grace: I don’t give a damn about the science. It’s my son.
Ben: I told you over and over again there’s some things science can’t explain. Some things you have to go on faith.

I covered up a murder to protect you and the passengers. Forget about the Callings, if my kinds went missing, I’d burn down the castle to get them back.
