John has a new girlfriend, Kristin, who he wants to introduce to Jane, but fears the two will not get along. 

Motif is introduced to the show Friends. 

After having a close encounter with an electric burst, Lou starts to worry about the situation he will die in and the impact it could have on his reputation. 

As John suspected, when Jane meets Kristin she immediately does not like her.

John goes to his neighbor for advice on how to get his girlfriend and his good friend to get along.

John decides the best way for the two to bond is over something they hate. He invites both of them to a Jazz concert, but they end up getting in a fight when Jane defends Andre. 

John goes over to Lou's house and must help in a trial run. To his surprise, his girlfriend has followed him to Lou's and John discovers she only wanted to meet Lou. 

John breaks up with her and asks her to leave. Lou realizes that, with fans like Kristin, he doesn't need to be afraid of the situation in which he dies. 

John goes home and tells Jane that she was right. Meanwhile, Motif has finished watching all nine season of friends and does not know what to do with his life.
