Today, on One Life to Live ...

A mournful Cole tells John that Starr wants to give their baby away. Meanwhile, Marcie is stunned when Starr asks her former teacher to adopt the child she's carrying.

Todd evades Marty's questions about how they know each other. Langston and Markko attempt to deflect their classmates' suspicions about Cole and Starr's noticeable absence.

Marty's nurse tries to calm her patient by showing her the familiar photo of John.

Marcie snarls at Starr, then quickly apologizes for overreacting. John suggests to Cole that Starr believes she's doing what's best for everyone involved.

Langston bemoans the fact that both she and her best friend had to grow up too soon.

Starr tries to reassure a skeptical Marcie that Todd won't present any problems to the McBains if they decide to adopt the baby.

Todd finally gives Marty some carefully edited background information to fill in the gaps in her memory.

Later, sensing a golden opportunity for payback, Todd claims that John was the person who left a helpless Marty to die. Marcie gently explains to an anguished Starr why she can't be any part of the baby's life.

Markko brightens Langston's day. Cole vows to find a way to keep Marty's grandchild.
