On the series premiere of Perception…
The brilliant neuroscience professor, Dr. Daniel Pierce is recruited by his former pupil, FBI Agent Kate Moretti to help work on a pharmaceutical case connected with a murder.
His ability to read people combined with his schizophrenia help him discover clues and formulate the answers. He is able to rule out two suspects based on his keen observations.
His hallucination helps him discover the secret love triangle and that there were two killers involved instead of the suspected one. The drugs were being tampered with and the murder took place in order to prevent the whistle blowing.
Unfortunately, Dr. Pierce also hallucinates his friend Natalie, but his assistant Max Lewicki, helps him during his day to day especially in dealing with the schizophrenia.
