Maura finds herself in danger in Rizzoli & Isles Season 6 Episode 13 after someone lures her to an abandoned parking lot and chlorforms her. She is handcuffed to a pipe and struggles to escape before her captor returns. Meanwhile, Jane is desperate to find her and blames herself for the abduction.

The investigation leads the detectives to several dead ends, while Jane panics. Jane looks through prison records and finds Leanne Sampson spent a lot of time with Joe Harris, a prison psychiatrist. His phone is traced to an abandoned mental hospital.

Meanwhile, Harris returns and cuffs Maura to a chair, then beats her up. His plan is to upset Jane by hurting Maura. Maura hears him arguing on the phone with someone and insisting the plan will work. He realizes the cops are closing in and chloroforms Maura again but she only pretends to pass out. She writes "TUN" on the radiator with dust to clue the cops as to where she is. They begin to search through abandoned tunnels for her.
