Maura and Jane have a difficult time dealing with family in Rizzoli & Isles Season 6 Episode 8, especially when it intersects with a case. They are called to the scene of a crime in which a jeweler calling himself "Ten Moes" has been murdered. This investigation thrusts them into the world of underground diamond deals, a Native American tribe that resents the diamond dealers and... Maura's father.

Arthur Isles, Maura's father, is a close friend of one of the suspects. He also happens to have done his dissertation on pufferfish neurotoxin -- the same poison that killed the victim. Maura and Jane suspect that he may be involved with the case. Worse, there's unfinished business between Maura and her father, and Maura won't share what it is.

While Maura struggles with her feelings about her father, Jane has family problems of her own. She refuses to move in with Maura, so Angela decides to move in with Frankie, but he's not having that. Jane has to mediate between her brother and her mother while getting her own housing situation settled.
