The episode is told almost entirely in Olivia's point of view. At first the end of the fall finale is relived and we see Jake run to the elevator and into the street before he calls Huck with the news.

After a rewind, we see that Olivia was only taken across the hallway to her neighbor's apartment. The neighbor is shot and killed after everything is set up and Olivia is transported to an ambulance under her dead body in a body bag.

The captors ask if she's going to beg and make demands, but she knows that the leader isn't there. None of the have the power to meet her demands.

When she wakes up, she is in a dirty room with another captive named Ian. She hears Islamic prayer outside. She sees sunshine and wonder where she could be. Olivia and Ian bond. But Ian is punished when Liv tries to escape through the bathroom.

After a dream that includes Jake rescuing her, Vermont with Fitz, and a pep talk from Abby with a clue about relying on herself, Olivia finally does escape. It turns out she has been in a warehouse the whole time. And Ian was in on it and is in charge.
