Ben is running and is shocked to find Tom's body.

He is questioned by Andrea who quickly makes it clear he is a suspect in the murder.

Andrea wants Ben to get a DNA test. He refuses and his attorney tells him that it probably means they think he had something to do with Tom's death.

Andrea informs Ben that he is the father of Tom. Ben doesn't know how to process this news and opts to keep it quiet. It is then all over the news and the family is shocked to find out. Christy is upset because she now thinks that ben slept with Jess more than once. His daughters are horrified to find out tom was their brother.

Christy lets the police search the house and Ben throws them out.  It turns out Natalie has been meeting with jess' ex and Ben goes crazy and runs towards them.

Ben struggles to find any work after the media coverage the story gets. He can't even take his daughter out without being harassed.

Jess asks Ben to go to her house. Christy is annoyed as Ben goes. Jess is upset with everything and wants ben for comfort, but he doesn't want to.
