Sam is at the bar with Felicia. Sam is appalled that club soda is so expensive. Felicia is happy they came out. Sam tells her that she's getting her 30-day chip soon.

Olivia tells Sam to stay away from bars and triggers being close to her 30 days. Sam wants to make amends to her friends, but Olivia says she's not ready.

Sam is avoiding Felicia, who wants to go to karaoke. Carol won't let Sam eat her book club snacks and wants to lie about why Sam's here and say she's freelancing from home.

Sam wants to tell the truth. She's proud of her progress.

Sam looks through IG and sees it's Brit's birthday, and she's celebrating at Rollerland. She suggests to Felicia they bring her son, Zack, there.

Felicia goes to get snacks. Sam and Zack run into Joel. Sam pretends it was Zack's idea to come, but Joel knows better, and then Britt sees them.

Carol's book club is discussing drama between generations. Sam's probation officer stops by, and Bob invites her to join them, making Carol break down. She needed one night where everything wasn't about Sam.

Joel gives the ladies a minute to chat. It's awkward as Sam tells Brit she looks pretty and then makes amends. She thanked her for being there when her dad died but apologized for everything without sounding sincere.

Felicia realizes Sam used her for a ride, gets hurt and angry, and leaves Sam stranded.

Sam earns her 30-day chip at the next meeting. She goes to the bar to apologize to Felicia. Felicia is proud of her success. They make up and sing together.
