We meet Aaliyah, Cruz, and friends in The Hamptons. Aaliyah's friends gossip and dance on the beach as she and Cruz get into the water. They talk about their futures as they swim far out in the ocean. Cruz says marriage is the last thing on her mind, and once they're out of earshot, Aaliyah admits she doesn't want to get married. She's accepted her fate as much as it pains her.

Joe and her team monitor Cruz, Aaliyah, and Ehsan from a yacht stationed yards offshore. Aaliyah's security team is monitoring the yacht, as well. Joe sends decoy women to the yacht's deck to lounge in the sun and throw anyone watching off their trail. Joe's team identifies Ehsan's brother, Kamal, on the beach along with everyone else. He's known to have ties to the oil empire on their radar and is someone to watch. Joe is curious about why Ehsan and Aaliyah's marriage was arranged.

Tucker fills Joe in on the operation the team handled for Kyle, explaining that it was much messier than anticipated. Joe is angry and calls Kyle, expecting to hear about his imminent debrief. Joe's concerned the blowback will come down on her team, but Kyle assures her it won't.

Kamal approaches Bobby on the beach, clarifying that she's being watched as the rest of Aaliyah's group packs up to leave.

Kyle meets with Kaitlyn and another agent, Byron, to debrief about the operation. Under duress after Kaitlyn and Byron question him, Kyle admits that he used the Lioness team to recover his operative. Both are disappointed, even though Kyle has intel about a future operation that saves him a bit.

On the yacht, Joe learns that Kyle hung her out to dry. During their conversation, Kaitlyn calls Joe and lets her know they need to talk immediately and that she'll be coming to join the Lioness team.

During surgery, Neil is informed that Kate and her friends were in a car accident. Kate is brought into the Emergency Room with a broken leg and fractures to her spine, all of which will require surgery. Neil calls Joe after Kate is stabilized, sharing that she was in an accident and the car's driver didn't make it. Joe says she'll be there for Kate's surgery tomorrow, but Neil doesn't necessarily believe her. On his way to talk to Kate, Neil's doctor shares that Kate is pregnant. Shocked, Neil heads into Kate's room to share the life-altering news.

Cruz and Aaliyah get ready for a night out with their friends as Joe and the team follow close behind. They head to a club where Aaliyah identifies affluent groups of guys. In a surveillance van, Joe tries to decide who from the team will head into the club for closer surveillance. No one else fits the bill, so Joe heads in herself.

Joe watches from the bar as Cruz and the group dance. She gets a call from Neil, who delivers the news about Kate. Stunned, Joe takes her eyes off the operation and talks to Neil, promising to be there for Kate tomorrow. Cruz comes to the bar, quickly noticing Joe before a guy starts hitting on her. Cruz offers to dance with the stranger, much to Joe's irritation.

Outside, Kaitlyn pulls up next to the Lioness team surveilling from their car. She asks to speak to Joe, but the team says she's on their mark and can't.

Inside, Cruz's flirtation buys her a drink and immediately drugs it. Cruz, without noticing, takes a sip. On the dancefloor, Aaliyah's group gets into an enormous fight, distracting Joe as Cruz gets taken out of the bar by the man who drugged her. Joe alerts the team that Cruz has been taken.

The team keeps track of Cruz, who's been taken into a thicket of woods. Joe finds Cruz before the guy can assault her, and the team joins in quickly to help revive Cruz. Joe instructs the team to take Cruz back to their safe house and takes care of the assailant, getting his identity and leaving him in pain before following the team.

At the house, Cruz is struggling. Joe says she wasn't ready for something so in-depth, and Kaitlyn agrees. Joe says they're in too far now, especially with their proximity to a tier 1 target.

Kaitlyn says she needs to talk to Joe, but Joe asks if they can speak on the way back to DC as her daughter's been in an accident. In the car, Joe is spiraling about Kate's accident. She tearfully asks how Kaitlyn and her husband stayed together, then changes the subject. Kaitlyn lets Joe know that the Lioness team has been caught on video from their operation in Texas, which had multiple casualties.
