Recap

It's election day, and all hands are on deck.

Tom is on edge as it's his first post-Logan election, and the wolves are yapping at the door. Greg, though, is feeling pretty good.

Kendall checks in with Tom, which only makes him more anxious. Pam wonders why Tom is wearing dress shoes on such a big night. Then he asks if Darwin does anything special, such as wearing adult diapers. He assures Tom there's always time for the bathroom.

Instead of listening to his team, Tom and Greg do what they do -- trade ridiculous stories about the previous night. Greg wonders if Tom knows about Shiv and her agreement with Shiv.

Exit polls look like Jimenez, leading to cracking conversations behind the scenes. Shiv and Roman discuss various voting tactics, and Roman calls what she shares a false flag.

Shiv checks in with Matsson about the funky numbers, and he tells her he was talking to Oscar and Greg (Greg?!) as part of a conversation as a normalist. Maybe they keep his terrible secret a secret.

Nate calls Shiv, wondering who's watching the watchmen. Shiv wants to keep their channel open on all things, including Matsson, her, and the new ATN.

Mencken wants a face-to-face with Roman. Kendall gets a call from Rava. They're all OK, but they're a bit freaked out because there is an SUV following them. Kendall reveals that he's having her followed. What the actual fuck, she wonders.

Ken calls Nate. He wants to talk with Jimenez, who takes the phone. When the election is over, they need to talk tech. Jimenez is a little embarrassed.

Mencken still thinks they can win, but he wants his loss to be correctly characterized as a huge victory. Overperformed. He wants to be president, and he wants to partner with Roman. It may not be today, but someday.

Greg wants to talk with Tom about the me of things because Matsson treated him abysmally but seemed to trust him. Tom asks where his coffee is, and Greg doesn't want any. Then he wonders if Tom wants some of he asked for, and Tom says yes. Greg gives him a hit of coke.

When Greg says no, Tom bullies him into doing a hit as well. He can't do it with Matsson but not Tom, Tom says.

On the table is bodega sushi, and Greg is like, it was Sampson. Not Sampson, Tom screams. He wants Greg Gregging for him! He's busted down to Greg for the night, much to Greg's protests.

Connor calls Tom to get some ATN sugar. Until the results, Connor is just as much president as any of them.

Tom is so hands-off, and it's going to bite him in the ass. Pam is tossing around ideas about grid failure being attributed to Menckenists and so on, but what grabs all of their attention is the touch screen on set and how it's being touched. Ken calls in about the touch screen next. They can't zoom. They can't zoom!!

While Tom is racing around, Shiv and Kendall want to know why they're not covering the fire. Jimenez and Mencken teams see the fire much differently. Tom is being pushed to his limits.

More fire talk between the sibs with Roman claiming false flag.

Mencken's team calls Roman. They're checking voter roles to see who has voted so far. Can he help with the narrative?

Nate is on the line with Shiv asking other things.

Greg says the guy is just touching the screen too hard. They're down to the last touch screen. Greg wants to wrangle the VIPs to somewhere more comfortable.

Shiv pulls Tom aside. She wants to apologize for what she said last night and wants to give him the opportunity to do the same. He doesn't. He wonders if she's scared that he's going to blab about Matsson. Jesus fucking Christ, Tom. My father just died, she says. She's off-kilter, so she deserves a break. He says she hated Logan, and she sort of killed him. WHAT?? It's this moment she takes to tell him she's pregnant. He wonders if it's true, and she can't believe he's asking. That's how far they've fallen.

Roman and Kendall have her back.

Greg is still trying to wrangle.

Connor is wondering if the ambassadorship is still on offer. Roman says that he's part of the reason Mancken didn't win. It was a yesterday offer, not a today offer.

No Wisconsin numbers can be called until all of the absentee ballots are found and counted. They're missing. They're arguing back and forth. If Mencken wins, that's the end of the world, Shiv says. But if Jimenez wins, he won't block the GoJo deal. Shiv wonders, is that the thing? That's not the thing, is it?

Tom reports in that they have enough numbers to call Wisconsin. Roman says to do it, while Shiv and Kendall say no. Milwaukee is keeping it all up.

Jimenez in on-screen saying without all the votes, nothing can be called. The votes were destroyed, so they want to call it. The team knows how the missing votes would have gone, Darwin says. Roman says they don't know how it's going to go. Shiv calls bullshit, and Tom says she's unhinged, and Kendall springs to her defense.

Roman sent talking points to someone who is going nuts live on air. Shiv says they need a fucking opposing viewpoint.

Matsson calls Shiv to find out if he's got to get comfortable with Mr. Scary, while on screen, the anchor is saying the Dems are saying the fire only burned their votes because it's a picky fire.

Mencken will screw up the deal in return for their support tonight. Roman takes that to Tom, who wonders on the power of who? They say no. Roman says he's the CEO, so, put it on the numbers thing. Roman doesn't care. It's on him. Arguments ensue. How about pending? The camera can even be on Darwin so he can explain it.

Then he gets wasabi in his eyes, and Greg pours lemon water in to soothe them. OMG.

Mencken is called on ATN. Kendall feels like dirt. Roman says Mencken wants to keep up the momentum. Connor gets on stage to note it's likely Mencken who will be the next president, and then Connor talks about his betrayal and that he's a billionaire, so they'll have to find some other poor mook's tap to suck on. OMG. He salutes Conheads and tells America to be warned that they're coming.

ATN then calls the race as a dead heat. Tom hears that Arizona is going red. Roman wants to call Arizona and the entire election for Arizona. Kendall wants to revisit Wisconsin. Connor tosses out something from their past about chicken and steak. Kendall is worried about his kids and America, and Roman wonders what would Logan do.

OMG. I'm so proud of Kendall right now. He wants to do the right thing.

PGN calls Arizona for Mencken just before Kendall checks in with Shiv. He's worried about the GoJo deal. He decides to be totally honest and tells her that it should be him, just him. He would like to be able to talk openly about that feeling. Kendall feels threatened by Roman's relationship with Mencken, so maybe he's pulling away.

Shiv tells Kendall he's a good guy, which is exactly what he wants to hear but now what she actually thinks. But they all want to stop Matsson, right? She agrees. Shiv says that Mencken is a long-term problem for a short-term solution. Mencken needs their call, Shiv says. Kendall says he doesn't think he'd be a very good father. Maybe the poison drips through.

He asks her to check in with Nate again, and she says she will, but she fakes the call.

Shiv says Jimenez is willing to think. Connor says game over. Mencken is on their side. Shiv says that Logan didn't want things to unravel. Roman calls bullshit. This time, he's spot on. Kendall decides to call Nate directly. She says don't do that. Now Kendall knows that Shiv isn't on their side. He's floored. He goes right to Greg. Does he know if there's something going on with Shiv and Matsson?

Kendall is really hurt that she called him a good guy. She tries to dance around it, but Kendall says Shiv's fucking us, right Shiv? She doesn't do well defending herself. They're calling Mencken now.

Is Shiv really concerned for the future of the country? She says she'll go public. It's about the future of the country. Roman says it's because she broke up with her boyfriend. Tom will do what they say. She calls him Pontious Pilot.

Tom tells Greg to take the news to the floor, but Jess stops him as he waffles on making the call. This is where Do you though comes into  play. Greg takes Mencken to the floor.  Tom is behind him to back that up. Everyone is so sad. They know they're doing the wrong thing, but the boat is in the water, and there's no turning back.

Mencken's first speech is downright depressing. Mencken calls Roman.

Tom's phone is blowing up, and Greg is fielding. Tom's face is on screen as making the call. It's not the Roys.

Shiv wants Matsson's numbers out in the next 24 hours. Matsson is like this is craaaazy. She says they're going to fuck them.

Kendall tries to see his kids, but Rava says they're sleeping.
