Recap

Someone tells Kendall that they don't have the board numbers or the stockholders to stop the sale. Kendall didn't see that coming. He thinks he's got it locked with four votes and the others he can get. When the guy brings up Roman, Kendall says he doesn't know where Roman is or where she stands, but he's fuckin' got this.

Shiv reports Matsson that she lost Stewy. She's got as many locks as Kendall. This is going down to the last minute, but she's positive that they've got it. The new CEO hasn't been locked yet, though. Where does Tom land? Shiv says he's a highly interchangeable moveable part. ATN is doing gangbusters, so it would be OK with her if he stuck around. He'd suck the biggest dick in the room, she says.

Caroline calls Shiv with news that Roman is on her doorstep. She wonders if Shiv is coming.

Shiv doesn't tell Mattson who was on the phone, but if she leaves, then she can get Roman, possibly having everyone on the same page with smiling faces, which would look nice.

Tom checks in with Shiv, wanting to know where he stands, and she says she's trying, which she's not. She needs to get a few things straight with Tom regarding their relationship. She wonders, so, with you, there's not anything left? Instead of sharing how she feels, she's asking what he feels about it.

Shiv says she's always been afraid of the worst that could happen in any relationship, but when you've said the worst things, then you're free. But he doesn't know if he's interested in a real relationship anymore. She hangs up quickly.

Hugo gives Kendall the news that Roman is there. Kendall tells his mom that speaking with Roman is life and death. But she says it's for them to discuss because Roman is very fragile. Kendall is on the way.

Roman is battered and bruised when Roman says hello. He says he had a discussion with some of her pals about the liberalism of democracy.

Caroline calls eyes balls of jelly rattling around in your head. Face eggs.

Kendall catches up with Stewy, revealing that he found Roman, but he's always had Roman. Stewy mentions Walter Lawrence. Kendall storms into the house, calling for Roman. Shiv says he's being very aggressive. Roman tells Kendall not to screwdriver him, and Kendall says Shiv is doing a number on him.

Kendall is upset that Roman changed his mind, and Roman says Kendall doesn't have it, and yeah, he changed his mind, so fuck you. Caroline wonders if the kids will hang for dinner. Shiv is comfortable. She's got this in the bag. Kendall decides to stay.

Tom and Greg are with Matsson at an art show. They bicker. Tom is worried he's getting fucking fired. It doesn't seem that Greg cares; after all, Matsson likes him. Tom says Greg is the highest-paid assistant in human history at $200k. He's fucked if Tom's fired.

Kendall tells Shiv he's got Stewy, and then hangs Walter Lawrence out there, suggesting Matsson might be getting the word out to others for CEO. She wants their support, offering to let the 100 IP go. Kendall and Shiv get real, with her saying she won, so get over it.

Tom and Matsson have dinner together, and everything about Tom is so sad. Matsson asks Tom to pitch himself, sing for his supper, so to speak. His strategy is to do what he's told. Go where the wind blows. He says he's a grinder because he worries all night about threats to him and his division. He has an excess of vigilance and a high tolerance for discomfort.

Matsson wants to be honest. He wants to keep it between them. He wonders if the thing he has with her is too much. She was too pushy on the India tactics. He thought family continuity sounded good, but he's reconsidering. He doesn't need more ideas because he's already got them. He needed a little bit of the political connection, but it turns out, it's fuckin' easy.

With Shiv, they're also a little bit clickity clicky. He wants to fuck her a little bit, and under the right circumstances, he thinks she'd fuck him too. Why get the baby lady when he could have the guy who put the baby inside her?

Matsson isn't looking for a partner. He's looking for a frontman, a pain sponge when he's under the hood doing what he's after. Tom could do it. Matsson calls him Logan Mark II, but this time he's fuckin' sexy.

Tom tells Greg it will be OK but not much more. He turns on a language app to get the scoop straight from Matsson's lips.

Dinner with Caroline finds her saying the offer from the awful man might be a chance to open a new chapter. She invites in Peter and a fellow named Jonathan about a scheme they've been discussing. Kendall leaves the room to take a call. It's Greg. He wonders if he gives him something amazing if he could get something incredible. Buckle up, he says. Kendall then makes a call. Matsson is talking to other people.

Kendall calls Shiv and Roman away from the table. He gives Shiv the news that Matsson is fucking her. She doesn't believe it. She decides to call Matsson directly. She calls what Kendall's doing desperate. He admits it would be pathetic if it wasn't true and asks her to call Karolina. Her name is erased from the materials.

The siblings are back together and working on the same side again. Tellis says that as a voting bloc, they could do it. They'd need to have a leadership plan in place. But the Incredible Fuckbrother Bandwagon hasn't been good for credibility.

The one thing they agree on is that they'd like to kill Matsson. Kendall says he thinks it would be him before Roman says Dad said it should be him. Shiv wonders what else Dad said when no one else was around. Kendall says he promised it to him when he was seven. Like, can you imagine? Pics or it didn't happen, Roman says.

Kendall says he shouldn't have said those things. To any of them. Kendall wonders if Roman really wants it. He caved in on himself at the funeral. Maybe that makes him a good person. He's well-adjusted, and Kendall is a business psycho.

Shiv fucked herself by siding with Matsson. Kendall admits he wants it to be him, and if they want to hold onto the company for them, their kids, for all of them. It's him.

They get to the beach, and they discuss sharks. And I seriously think Kendall is going to get eaten by one. It gives Shiv and Roman a chance to talk. Shiv says Kendall would be unbearable, but Roman would be a disaster. Roman can see Kendall taking it, but he can't see Shiv. Roman wonders who dad really wanted to give it to.

Shiv says she doesn't think Logan cared about anything but one foot in front of another. They consider murdering Kendall. They laugh about how awful Kendall would be if trying to kill him went wrong. They anoint him, and Shiv gives him permission to smile, which Kendall does broadly.

Caroline is happy they all agree on something other than what a terrible mother she is.

Roman decides to lick Peter's cheese, and it puts them all in a great mood as the create the most disgusting blender concoction.

Before she gives it to him, Shiv spits in it. Kendall wonders if this is going to be alright. They're going to be alright, right?

Roman kings him by pouring the contents on his head, and Shiv calls, Mom!

The siblings arrive back together, with Connor asking if they'll be there for the great reallocation, which is them putting stickers on the items they want. It's a bereavement system with layers of bereaved. Roman wonders if Connor wants to keep some of the stuff for himself, but they're looking at living separately, with Willa here and Connor somewhere else.

Connor has a video of a dinner with Logan. He's listing all of the presidential losers over the years chronologically. Roman watches Gerri do a sexy limerick, and Connor does a raunchy I'm a little teapot. Karl sings an Irish song,m and others join in. The kids cling to each other, watching their dearly departed dad.

Shiv and Tom catch up at the Great Reallocation. She says that's all fucked, but Tom doesn't reveal what he knows. Tom stutters his way through asking who she thought it would be. Tom says maybe she should vote it through if it's all set. Then he says it's him. She calls bullshit.

She can't believe that Matsson went for an empty fucking suit. Good luck motherfucker, she says. They have the numbers, so good fucking luck.

Tom pulls Greg into the bathroom, and they get into a physical brawl about what it means. Tom was this close, and Greg told. Now they can gather their numbers. Tom calls Matsson. Matsson screams Phones! It's time to lock in, and he wants Frank called to lock him in.

Karolina wonders if part of the change to come could include getting rid of Hugo.

Roman spots Frank running. Hugo wonders how he can prep the deal. Kendall takes the chair, and Roman says it's not a magic chair. Stewy check in, and they all wonder if they have him. He's selfish, so...

Roman sees Gerri and wants to leave. He'll call in his vote. He's cracking. Kendall wonders if he's OK. Like, why isn't it me, he wonders. Kendall pulls his sobbing brother close and holds him tight. Roman popped his stitches.

The board meeting begins. Kendall is a little too confident, and they move directly to a vote. Frank thinks GoJo is a good deal and can't, in good conscience, vote any other way. Shiv leaves the room. She is balking on the vote. Kendall goes after her. Roman, too. She changed her mind. Kendall pleads for her to vote. She says it's not all about him.

She just doesn't think he'd be good about it. Then she says, you can't be CEO. You killed someone. Kendall says he didn't. He says it was a false memory. Then Roman demands to know if it happened. Shiv and Roman won't do it. They're screaming at each other loud. then Roman says Logan says Kendall's kids weren't really his. Kendall grabs Roman's face. They're fighting like crazy. Shiv returns to vote. It's over.

Kendall still wants to find a deal, and Roman says to let it go. It's nothing. Fucking stop it. We are bullshit. Roman knows all three of them are nothing. Kendall gets himself together and heads back into the board room while people whisper about him. Frank delivers the news. It's done.

The GoJo team celebrates, photos are taken. Tom wants to party.

Tom and Shiv share a ride, tenuously holding hands.

Roman finds himself a watering hole and a martini, a wry smile crossing his face.

Kendall, dejected, heads toward the water, Colin in tow. The credits roll.
