Donna apologizes to "Stormy" for betraying him but he guesses Stephanie would have had this hanging over their heads for the rest of their lives. Katie announces that she's going to talk with Stephanie. After she leaves, Storm decides it's time to confess so he can remove the power Stephanie has.

Stephanie tells Eric (John McCook) she's only trying to do what's best for him but he doesn't believe "that old saw" and urges her to show some compassion. Katie (Heather Tom) interrupts and, once she's in another room with Stephanie, admits she knows how it feels to be rejected.

However, she also pleads with her not to turn her brother in to the police because of all that he has done to help her while she was growing up. Stephanie's impressed to hear how he had to be the parent but explains that there is nothing she can say to get her to change her mind.

Ridge is outraged to find Storm at the door with Brooke and Donna. He boasts that Storm deserves to rot in prison but Storm claims it will all be worthwhile to see Donna happy with Eric. When Lt. Baker and Charlie arrive, Stephanie (Susan Flannery) makes a speech about how terrifying it was to be shot.

Nick's impressed with how Taylor is talking and claims she needed some time away to get things back together in her life. She admits she's sorry about the way things ended because he could have been the love of her life. Nick invites her to say goodnight to Jack but she announces she's taking her son with her.
