Today, on The Bold and the Beautiful ...

When Nick asks her what it will take to get her to come home, Beth tells Nick that she's not going to talk about this with him. Nick won't let up so Beth walks out on him. Nick summons Stephen to the hotel suite and gets him to admit that Beth hasn't "been herself lately."

Later, when Beth returns, Nick again asks why she hasn't been a good mother. Marcus brings Steffy to Bikini Beach to have dinner. Marcus wonders why the family is so angry with his mother for marrying Eric since it was his choice.

Instead, she asks about his past and he talks about moving to Austin so he could play basketball at the university. However, he sheepishly admits that he sold chili dogs at the stadium so he could watch the Longhorns play because he couldn't afford to go to college.

He then gets her to talk about her relationship with Phoebe and why she stayed in London for so long. Told Nick is out of town, Katie suggests to Bridget that they use the night to plan her wedding. Bridget confirms that Nick hasn't proposed yet.

Katie admits that she fell hard for Nick but because she values her friendship with Bridget, she promises her that she will never act on those feelings. Thanking her for her honesty, Bridget states that Nick is with her because he wants to be.

Katie decides that it's time for her to move out before Nick returns.
