When Isabel asks Walter to help her night school friend, Joyce Werthersby, find the inheritance left behind by her now deceased father, Walter finds himself actually finding his killer. The quest takes him to the local horse racing establishment, where he finds out that some of the men who knew Joyce’s father are out for the inheritance left for her.
