Luke believes he and June can get Hannah to Canada together.

June reaches out to Commander Lawrence, but he won’t help. 

Luke then suggests June reach out to Nick.

June and Nichole go to meet Nick, and June learns Nick has kept tabs on Hannah without her asking.

They kiss, and June heads back to Canada. 

Meanwhile, Fred and Serena greet visitors.

Naomi offers to raise Serena's son if the Waterfords are unable, and Fred learns that Gilead isn't doing anything to try to free him.

Fred and Serena talk about their future, and Fred said he'll do whatever it takes.

Mark later reveals to June, Luke, and Moira that Fred cut a deal in exchange for the charges being dropped against him and securing his freedom.

June is furious with Mark.

In Gilead, Esther is now a handmaid and goes on a hunger strike.

Aunt Lydia enlists Janine's help in getting Esther to eat.

Janine is able to convinces Esther to end her hunger strike by telling her Gilead won't let her die.

The other aunts want to sent Janine back into service, but Aunt Lydia isn't ready.

Janine getting through to Esther when the other aunts couldn't suggests Janine might have a permanent place at the Red Center.
