Recap

Benjamin sees some action in this episode, but not on the battlefield. He's rescued by a widow who nurses him back to health (he was shot while fleeing his captors). He tells her that he's a soldier in the Continental Army and she protects him from the Redcoats trying to chase him down, even though she's a loyalist. After they leave her home, she tells Ben to get the hell out. She never wants to lay (eyes on) him again!

Abe wants to stop Anna's wedding to Major Hewlett so badly that he is willing to ask his father for help. They discover that Anna forged her divorce papers and cannot legally wed Hewlett. Judge Woodhull stops the nuptials and exposes Anna, who blames Hewlett. Anna and Hewlett both decide to leave Setauket, but not together.

Major Andre is depressed that the woman he loves is really good at doing what he asked her to do. She's in Philadelphia manipulating General Benedict Arnold into helping the British. She's also engaged to marry him, which is why Major Andre is so sad. But not sad enough that he won't sleep with another woman! He asks his lover to wear her hair exactly like Peggy.

As far as I’m concerned, I don’t have a father.
