Lagertha reveals she knows of his betrayal. Harold tells he no longer has the intention to dethrone her. He offers her an alliance. He offers to marry her, and Lagertha rapes him. 

Bishop Heahmund learns of the Viking's attack on York. 

King Harold's men free him and they kidnap Astrid. He tells her he wants to marry her. 

Alfred winds up face down in the water, but Aethelwulf pulls him out and saves him. He says they must go to York. 

Bishop Heahmund comes to Aethewulf and tells him he has a plan of attack, but wants to wait and be sure the areas he pointed out are truly unguarded.
