Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 2: 13 Things We Hope to See

at .  Updated at .

Rachel Bloom already has a Golden Globe, a Critic's Choice Award, and a TCA Award for her outstanding achievements on screen as the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Rebecca Bunch.

And that's not all! Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has earned four Emmy nominations, a record for The CW.

As we all anxiously await a potential Emmy win for the series, we can't help but reflect on the show's first season.

Rebecca moved to West Covina, California in hopes of rekindling her romance with high-school boyfriend Josh Chan, realizing that she's not been truly happy since then. (Thanks, Butter!)

Upon her arrival in the town just three hours from the beach, she turns Chan's life, and the lives of his friends, upside down as she desperately tries to integrate herself into his life, and break up his romance with his longtime girlfriend, Valencia.

Getting into his group won't be easy, but with the help of her new bestie, Paula, a woman who needs a little excitement in her life, the two scheme their way into Josh's life once again.

There was one big roadblock in their plan: Josh's best friend, Greg, fell for Rebecca, and Rebecca totally liked him too. But Greg is kind of dense about life and has a bit of a drinking problem and he pretty much blew it with Becks.

Josh and Rebecca finally got back together, but Rebecca's confession of crazy left him feeling a bit uneasy about their reconciliation.

So what does Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 2 have in store for us? We have no idea!

We decided to dream up a few of our own wishes for Rebecca and her friends to hold us over until Season 2 of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend premieres on Friday, October 21 on The CW.

1. Rebecca and Greg Figuring it Out

Rebecca and Greg just make sense. They're both selfish and broken people who can help one another, if they'd just learn how to communicate. We're not saying they need to be in love (though it would be nice). But these two need to realize that they could be great allies as they both work toward emotional recovery.

2. More LOL Songs

This one is obvious, but we're still singing all of the hilarious hits from Season 1. What will this season's “Heavy Boobs” or “I Gave You a UTI” be? We can't wait to see what Adam Schlessinger, Jack Dolgen, and Rachel Bloom have in store for us this season, musically.

3. Valencia as the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend

Valencia has invested too many years into her relationship with Josh to give up now, especially seeing as how she was the only person who was wise to Rebecca's true intentions all along. Will the roles get reversed this season, leaving Valencia as the desperate ex trying to win back her man? We hope so!

4. White Josh Feather Giving Relationship Advice

As the resident emotionally stable relationship of the series, it would be fitting to see White Josh and Darryl handing out romantic advice to the masses. These two figured out how to make it work with honesty and maturity, something that nearly everyone else in their inner circle lacks. After all, shouldn't we all aspire to be as awesome and White Josh Feather?

5. Josh Chan Gets a Happy Ending

This is the thing about Josh Chan: he's a REALLY nice guy. He didn't deserve to be bullied by Valencia, but he also doesn't deserve Rebecca's deception (no matter how kind and loving her intentions may have been). We really hope Josh gets his happy ending, one that he chooses for himself.

6. Paula and Greg Becoming Buds

Paula has been rooting for Josh all along, but truth be told, she's a lot like Greg. Both are unhappy with their life circumstances, but have both brought them all upon themselves. Both received a shot of excitement from Rebecca. Most importantly, they alone both know the REAL Rebecca. Isn't it time for them to bury the hatchet and realize that they could have a great friendship?

7. Greg Getting Sober

The audience connected deeply with Greg, and rooted for (and against) him nearly as much as they did for Rebecca. Greg's downward spiral in Season 1 left us sad, as we championed for the underdog bartender not only to win Rebecca's heart, but also to get a win in life. We hope that Season 2 brings growth to Greg, and that losing Rebecca will sober him up both physically and emotionally. Greg can do great things...if he WANTS to.

8. More Josh Chan Musical Numbers

We fell in love with Greg because of songs like “Settle for Me” and “What'll It Be”, so isn't it time for Josh Chan to give us a feelings-inducing song? We know that Vincent Rodriguez III has the pipes and the dancing shoes for such a song, so don't you think it's time for Josh Chan's time in the spotlight?

9. Grocery Clerk with Half an Eyelid

Call us crazy, but we love Brody! We know he's got some serious game with the ladies, so perhaps hooking him up with Heather (or even Valencia!) would be a great way to keep him in the fold of the Crazy Ex-Girlfriend universe...and in our hearts.

10. Darryl and Rebecca Singing a “Josh” Duet

Rebecca loves Josh. Darryl loves White Josh. Isn't it time for the two lawyers to sing their love for their respective Josh together? There's some potential here, we just know it. Maybe a “Freddie My Love” style number from Grease is just the right backdrop for the ultimate ode to “Josh”.

11. Rebecca Kicking Ass at Work

Rebecca is a little off kilter, yes. But at work, Rebecca is unbeatable. It's a joy to watch someone who can't quite get her life together be so successful in the courtroom. We hope we get to see more of Rebecca defending clients and kicking ass for those who need her help.

12. Josh's Reaction to Rebecca's Confession of Crazy

What happened immediately following Rebecca's crazy confession? That's what we hope to see. We can't wait to see how Josh handles life now that's he's free of controlling Valencia, but reconnected with his teenage fling. Will he be touched by the lengths she went to in order to win his heart, or has he made a huge mistake?

13. Father Brah and Rebecca Sharing the Screen

Rebecca is overdue for a dose of Father Brah's brutally honest advice. It's selfish, for sure, but we mostly just want to see Rene Gube and Rachel Bloom sharing the screen and showcasing their mutually incredible comedic chops.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Quotes

Rebecca: Where are you from again?
Josh: West Covina, California. 91791!
Rebecca: West Covina, I remember that. That's near the beach, right?
Josh: Yeah, only two hours...well, four in traffic.

Dear God, I don't pray to you because I believe in science. But I don't know what to do. Give me guidance, please. Ah-men. A-men. Amen?
