One Tree Hill: Where Are They Now?

at .  Updated at .

Teen drama One Tree Hill ended its nine-season run in 2012, and there hasn't been a show quite like it since.

Many of the actors catapulted into stardom thanks to the series and are now killing it on both the big and small screen. Meanwhile, others have removed themselves from the spotlight completely.

However, nothing bonds a group of strangers quite like a TV show. Their bond has remained strong, and they continue to hang out and keep in touch with fans at conventions which have also kept the legacy of the series alive for new and old fans alike.

There are even talks of a possible revival in the near-future.

So, let's return to Tree Hill and see what your basketball-loving, small-town actors have been up to since the series wrapped.

1. Chad Michael Murray - Lucas Scott

Much like his character Lucas Scott, actor Chad Michael Murray became a writer. He published his first novel, Everlast HC in 2011, and in 2017 he published American Drifter: A Thriller. Murray has also been keeping up appearances on the small screen.

He starred in Hallmark's "The Beach House," played Sam Phillips in Sun Records, tackled the role of Jack Thompson in Agent Carter, and even had a minor role in Fox's Scream Queens. He married Chosen co-star Sarah Roemer in 2015, and they welcomed their first son in 2016. He attends many of the One Tree Hill fan conventions so make sure you add one to your bucket list.

2. James Lafferty - Nathan Scott

The other Scott brother graduated from actor to director. Lafferty has been working off-screen directing several episodes of E!'s series The Royals, which hails from now-disgraced OTH showrunner Mark Schwahn. Much like Murray, Lafferty is a frequent guest at the OTH conventions where he catches up with fans.

Recently, he teamed up with former co-star Stephen Colletti on an independent TV pilot titled Everyone is Doing Great. The half-hour comedy follows the two struggling actors, Seth and Jeremy played by Colletti and Lafferty, respectively, as they try to reclaim the success they had when their vampire drama was in its prime. The pilot will be showcased at the 2018 ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas in June. He also starred in the Underground TV series in 2016 as U.S Marshal Kyle Risdin. And as far as we know, he's still single, ladies!

3. Sophia Bush - Brooke Davis

Sophia Bush has remained in the spotlight the most. After her role as Brooke Davis came to an end, she starred in Chicago PD as Detective Lindsay. She left the show abruptly after season four and later revealed that she "couldn't do the job anymore." She said the show made her "miserable" before alluding to how women are treated in the industry.

She recently announced that she will be voicing Voyd in Incredibles 2. In addition to her acting career, Bush is also an activist who uses her platform to address women's issues, the fight for equality, LGBTQ rights, climate change and much more.

4. Joy Lenz - Hailey James Scott

You'll be happy to know that Tutor Girl is still acting and singing. Bethany Joy Galeotti returned to her maiden name Joy Lenz after divorcing Michael Galeotti in 2012. The ex-couple share 7-year-old Marie Rose Galeotti. Since OTH ended, she's worked on several movies and shows; she played Morgan in Colony, guest-starred on Grey's Anatomy as Jenny, and even appeared on American Gothic and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She also wrapped up a musical tour in 2016, and like her other cast members occasionally makes an appearance at the fan conventions.

5. Hilarie Burton - Peyton Sawyer

From dark cheerleader to doting mother! Family gal Hilarie Burton has been leading quite a busy life since her premature departure from the hit WB drama. Burton is a mom to two beautiful children, Augustus (born in 2010) and George (born in 2018) with husband and The Walking Dead actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

When she's not living on her ranch home and being family goals, Burton continues to act. Other acting credits include White Collar, Hostages, and Forever.

The dad everyone loved to hate! Paul Johansson has remained active in the acting community appearaing in shows like Once Upon a Time, Van Helsing, CSI and Mad Men. She wed Mike Caussin in 2015 and they welcomed daughter Jolie Rae Caussin shortly after.

When he's not working, he's spending time with his 24-year-old daughter, Willow whom he shares with ex-Gabrielle Anwar. The rest remains quite a mystery, although, he recently resurfaced for an OTH reunion and fans were shocked to see his new style.

Remember Nathan and Hailey's adorable firstborn? Well, he's not so little anymore! In fact, he's 17-years-old now! Yikes, where did the time go? Sometimes, he even reminisces about his time on OTH! And yes, he's still besties with Chuck (Michael May)!

14. Tyler Hilton - Chris Keller

Did someone say, Chris Keller? Much like his character on the show, Keller is a musician who is touring with another familiar face from Tree Hill, Kate Voegele aka Mia Catalano. 16. Torrey DeVitto - Nanny Carrie

For a while, it seemed like Torrey DeVito could only pull off roles that featured her as a disturbed character like Nanny Carrie in OTH. She played the devilish Melissa Hastings on Pretty Little Liars and starred as Dr. Meredith Fell on The Vampire Diaries before joining OTH sister Sophia Bush in Dick Wolf's Chicago franchise. While Bush primarily starred on Chicago PD with a few crossover episodes here and there, DeVitto took on the role of Dr. Natalie Manning on Chicago Med.

In her private life, her marriage to TVD star Paul Wesley lasted only two years. They wed in 2011 after meeting him on the set of Killer movie but they divorced two years later in 2013 citing "amicable differences." He may be 77-year-old but Corbin is not looking to slow things down one bit. Since playing the beloved Coach on OTH, he's appeared in almost 50 projects and has eight more in the works for 2018-19. No one has a more extensive IMDB profile than this guy! Corbin occasionally makes it out the reunions and fans are always delighted to see him.

19. Brett Claywell - Tim Smith

It's Tim time! The funnyman took on a more serious role post-OTH as gay character Kyle Lewis on daytime soap One Life to Live. The role earned him critical acclaim and national recognition, not to mention a GLAAD award. Since then, he's put acting on hold to enjoy his life a bit. According to his Instagram, he enjoys playing golf, raising money for his charity and is currently executive producing a basketball series titled "Streetball Stories."

According to some Instagram photos, he's been working on a project with TVD's Paul Wesley and even scouting locations for shots. He is dating Southland actress Hassie Harrison.

23. Bryan Greenberg - Jake Jagielski

Bryan Greenberg's life didn't turn out anything like character Jake Jagielski's. He wed longtime girlfriend and actress Jamie Chung in LA on Halloween in 2015. The two are proud puppy parents.

24. Bevin Prince - Bevin Mirskey

Blonde Bevin took a break from acting in 2012 to become a SoulCycle instructor in NYC! Follow your dreams, girl! The extent of her on-screen work is now composed of a Crest commercial and a small role in the hit TV series Power. She wed Bisnow CEO William Friend in an island wedding in 2016.

25. Michael Copon - Felix Taggarro

The man behind "the water is hot and so is Felix," added a handful of titles to his IMDB page since his OTH days. He appeared in That's So Raven, Bring It On: In It to Win It and Beyond the Break, to name a few. He also has quite a few projects in post-production for 2018. Her TV boss Sophia Bush was in attendance and James Lafferty served as a groomsman. Shortly after, she welcomed a baby boy named Flynn Robert Kirsch. Both her and her husband's Twitters have been inactive since 2015.

28. Michael May - Chuck Scolnik

Michael May appeared in two TV projects, Halt and Catch Fire and Game of Silence, following OTH but his main focus has been on music. When I attended the Chicago OTH fan convention, he performed alongside Tyler Hilton and Kate Voegele and showcased his music to a room of screaming girls! Lucky man! If you're interested, you can check out his music on Spotify! Like I mentioned previously, he remains best friends with Jackson Brundage (Jamie Scott). You just got chucked!
