On The Fosters Season 2 Episode 17, Stef starts her first day at a new job and takes on a human trafficking case.

The Fosters loves to dive headfirst into timely and important issues, this should be no exception. 

Stef is introduced to Diamond, a teen sex worker who is also a victim of sex/human trafficking. Will Stef and her new partner convince Diamond to help them take down the operation? Is Mike there to help, or just there for personal reasons?

Elsewhere, Callie and AJ's relationship is in jeopardy because of her dogged pursuit for justice at her own expense. Also, Lena faces repercussions from the LGBTQ sex-ed she hosted for students off-campus.

When news breaks that Jesus is having issues reading, he is given glasses to help him with his brain trauma. Mariana tries to cheer him up.
