Alexandra has had guest roles on many TV series including Dawson's Creek (1998), and Freaks and Geeks (1999,) Charmed (2002), Buffy the Vampire Slayer (2002), CSI (2004), JAG (2004), Psych (2007), Law & Order: SVU (2018), and many more.

Breckenridge has had recurring roles on American Horror Story (2011 - 2013), The Walking Dead (2015 - 2016), and This Is Us (2017 - 2022).

She currently stars as Melinda Monroe on the Netflix series Virgin River.
