Amanda Seyfried is an American television and film actress. Her career started off early as a child model. In Seyfried's first feature film Mean Girls (2004) she stared as the dumb blonde Karen Smith.
Amanda's breakthrough performance was her lead role in Mama Mia! (2008) - which not only landed her leading role credentials, but a good looking boyfriend - Dominic Cooper to boot! They have been together since 2007.
Seyfried has also appeared in other feature films such as Alpha Dog and Jennifer's Body. Both movies have a darker quality to them.
Although Seyfried has been on other television shows like Veronica Mars and House, none have garnered her as much attention like her role as Sarah Henrickson in Big Love. 2010 marks her final year on HBO's hit show.
