We all need a little breather to digest what went down on Grey's Anatomy Season 12 Episode 5, don't we?
Not only is Callie dating the doctor who failed (miserably) to save Derek's life, but Penny will now be working with Meredith and company at Grey Sloane Memorial and we can only imagine the awkwardness that will ensue from this arrangement.
Actually, we don't need to imagine.
We can get a pretty clear idea right here and now.
The series will take Thursday, October 29 off before returning on Thursday, November 5 - and the official network trailer featured here gives us a pretty good idea of what to expect when Meredith is forced to work with Penny.
Simply put, there will be "Hell to pay" on Grey's Anatomy Season 12 Episode 6, as this footage depicts Meredith trying to keep it together in the presence of Penny...
... but eventually being unable to do so. Can you blame her? Especially when Penny is placed on Meredith's service? Yeah. Neither can we.
