Riverdale Season 2 Teaser: Will Fred Die?

at .

The Riverdale cast and crew assembled at San Diego Comic-Con to dish on what's to come on this addictive CW soap.

We've already covered extensively what the cast and crew said at the event, but now we have an awesome blooper video that even offers up a first look at Season 2.

A Glorious Gift - Riverdale Season 1 Episode 9

The bloopers are a nice touch, but all we really care about is what happened after the shocking Riverdale Season 1 conclusion.

The teaser picks up in the immediate aftermath with a blood-soaked Archie chatting to his friends about the horrific incident and how he feels like something else is going to happen in the aftermath of it.

It does seem like Fred is alive during the scenes in the teaser, but he could be away having emergency surgery at the hospital. Nothing about any of the scenes makes it seem like he's dead.

The Andrews Charm - Riverdale Season 1 Episode 13

In of the scenes, Pop compares the villainous presence in the diner to "The Angel of Death."

That's certainly a bold statement from Pop, but one that makes us very worried for the people of Riverdale. If a serial killer is in the town, who will they take down next?

It's scary to think about.

Also scary: Cheryl Blossom. Her mother is in the hospital, and it looks like she's going to be calling the shots about what happens to her family.

Penelope looks genuinely scared at the way her daughter is treating her. Either way, she deserves it for all the crap she pulled on Season 1.

Riverdale Quotes

Alice: These diaries are your past, and your past is crushing you. Edgar says that...
Betty: What, Mom? What does some guru who’s running a heaven’s gate commune for pregnant runaways and wives of serial killers have to say about my diaries?
Alice: We know that you look down on the Farm, Betty. But, Edgar has done nothing but help me. He’s encouraged me to embrace everything that I was ashamed of and become the best version of myself.

Veronica: What's happening out there? Do we know? Is it about me?
Jughead: I have a strong inkling, and no. Also, I'd let it go.
Veronica: Yes, but you're you and I'm me. You do you, girl. I'll be back.
[She leaves]
Kevin: What was it like before she got here? I honestly cannot remember.
