Might Elijah become the first big casualty of The Originals Season 4?
That looks to be something that could very well ring true on The Originals Season 4 Episode 9, an episode that will find the Mikaelsons going to extreme lengths to save him from The Hollow.
With The Hollow gearing up to use Elijah as a sacrifice in order to make her reign of terror all the more worthwhile, Marcel will be pulled into the plan.
Something tells us that either Marcel or Elijah will be out of the equation by the end of the episode. The blue-eyed version of Sofya has her hands on the dagger that can kill Marcel.
There's every reason to believe she would use it if given the opportunity. She proved on The Originals Season 4 Episode 8 that she meant business and was not about to let Marcel and the Mikaelsons get their hands on the bones before her.
The official description for the episode teases "a heartbreaking sacrifice" when Vincent teams with Hayley and Freya to take the villain down once and for all.
It even teases Klaus making a shocking sacrifice that could change the Mikaelson family forever. Who could the alliance be with?
That's something we're going to be thinking about all week as we await the next episode of the series, which airs May 19.
