Vikings Season 5 Trailer: The End of Our World Is Near!

History sure knows how to get us Vikings Fanatics excited for a brand new season of the hit drama series. 

In a trailer released in honor of San Diego Comic Con, we get confirmation that war is brewing and that the end of the world could be nigh. 

Lagertha is always on tap with something to say, and this team, it's more of a whimper from her as she admits that "the end of our world" is near.

That's a bold statement, but one that has us eagerly anticipating Vikings Season 5. 

If you don't believe Lagertha about the fate of the world, you should probably pay close attention to the final few seconds of the trailer. 

The trailer also reveals that the series will return with a two-hour extravaganza on Wednesday, November 29 at 9/8c. 

On Season 5, Jonathan Rhys Meyers (The Tudors) boards the series as Bishop Heahmund, joining series regulars Katheryn Winnick, Gustaf Skarsgård, Alexander Ludwig and Alex Høgh Andersen.

Ivar’s murder of his brother Sigurd means there are some vicious battles on the horizon as Ragnar’s sons plot their next moves after retaliating for their father’s death.

Bjorn chases his fate into the Mediterranean Sea and Floki, who is suffering from the loss of his wife Helga, takes to the seas presenting himself to the will of the gods.
