Their December 23 Park City, Utah wedding might have been "incredible and beautiful" as co-star and groomsman T.R. Knight put it, but Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley's Mexican honeymoon got off to a bit of a rough start.

The reason? Amid wedding chaos, the Grey's Anatomy star forgot her passport.

It happens to everyone. Alas, the happy couple could not fly directly to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, says a source, and instead, had to stop over in California first.

Things brightened considerably for Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley when the couple made South of the Border, however. Kelley enjoyed some tee time while Heigl soaked up the sun.

By Friday, the happy twosome was spotted poolside as Josh Kelley serenaded his new bride - and others - with some of the songs from his upcoming album.
