Erika Slezak's future on the show looks safe.

In the most recent edition of her online newsletter, the actress that plays Viki Davidson said she and the soap opera will soon be hammering out a new contract. Hopefully.

"Nobody has said to me that I am leaving the show. My contract is up for renegotiation, and they have indicated a willingness to renegotiate, so in other words, they want me to stay. So we‘ll see what happens. But I believe I am going to stay unless they want otherwise — but I don‘t know — all I know is that we are going to negotiate."
