The End of William Bell on Fringe?

at .

Just a couple weeks after his latest appearance as William Bell on Fringe, Leonard Nimoy has bad news for fans:

He might never return to the show.

"I've done three appearances for them. I don't know if I will do a fourth," the actor told The Los Angeles Times this week.

Nimoy's Bell most recently appeared in "Momentum Deferred" an episode that revolved around Olivia's return to her alternative reality.

"They've asked me to do more, but we have to talk about where the character is going," Nimoy said. "So far my character and my appearances have been used to lay in information about this alternate universe and the experience of being in this other world. And that's OK, but I don't know yet what plans they have for really developing a dramatic story for the character. I'm waiting for a conversation about that."

Whether or not he appears on screen again, the star has nothing but praise for the show.

"They do a great production job. They have great story hooks, terrific production values and very interesting performances."

Fringe Quotes

Walter: It's a shame I don't have a lab. I'd like to examine him.
Peter: You do have a lab, Walter. Your lab at Harvard.
Walter: Yes. I do, don't I?

Just your average multi-national corporation specializing in secret bio research and defense contracting. Massive Dynamic. Seems like such an innocent name for a corporation, don't you think?
