On January 25, FX will premiere the third season of Damages.

Already one of the best drams on TV, the series has fans more excited than ever for its return, following the casting of Martin Short, Reiko Aylesworth and Keith Carradine in various new roles.

But the most buzz created by the network's recent press release may be over Justified, a new show debuting in March that features Timothy Olyphant (a second season Damages guest star) as the lead.

Olyphant stars as Deputy U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens. He's described as a "modern-day 19th century-style lawman" and enforces a brand of justice in a way that makes him an enemy of criminals... and of his bosses.

As a result of the latter conflict, Givens is reassigned to the U.S. District covering the town where he grew up. He's based on a character from several books and short stories by author Elmore Leonard.

Also starring in Justified:

• Nick Searcy as Givens' friend and boss;
• Jacob Pitts as Deputy Marshal Tim Gutterson;
•  Erica Tazel as Deputy Marshal Rachel Dupree.
