at . Comments

The news just keeps getting better for Law & Order: SVU viewers.

First, Christopher Meloni clarified statements he made earlier this year and said he has NOT decided to leave the show.

Now, we can report on a couple of upcoming storylines that should get the blood of any long-time fan pumping:

On April 28, Law & Order mainstay Sam Waterston will make hop over to SVU in the iconic role of district attorney Jack McCoy. The reason for this appearance? Something special guest star Sharon Stone does/says.

Waterston has appeared, via his law office, twice before on the spin-off. But executive producer Neal Baer says: “For the first time in Law & Order: SVU’s eleven year history, Sam will show up in the SVU squad room."

A week later, meanwhile, the May 5 installment of SVU will find Benson and Stabler going undercover "as a married couple adopting a baby," Baer told

What will this mean for the partners' relationship? How far will they take their charade?

“You’ll have to wait and see,” said Baer. “But there’s certainly emotion shown between them because they’re [supposed] to be married.”

Noah: Please... I can have a cookie?

Nanny: I offered to stay over last night, but Nadine said that I should go home.
Sonny: What time was this?

Sonny: What time was that?
Nanny: Seven thirty. I made sure to be on time. I knew Theo would need me.
