Joan Cusack will guest star on Law & Order: SVU this fall.
The former Oscar nominee (and sister of actor John Cusack) will portray the mother of a girl who disappeared years earlier, as first reported by TV Guide.
On the episode, the other daughter of Cusack's character will also go missing, causing her to be at the center of an investigation.
Cusack's guest-starring stint will coincide with the introduction of Erik Weber, a graphic designer played by Henry Ian Cusick who gets close to Detective Olivia Benson.
