Reid Scott is coming to The Big C.
The actor, best known for his role on My Boys, will portray Dr. Todd, the oncologist of Laura Linney's main character, Cathy.
The Big C, which premieres on August 16 after Weeds, chronicles the life of Cathy, a schoolteacher and mother whose life changes after she receives a cancer diagnosis.
Oliver Platt stars alongside Linney as Cathy's husband.
