Simply put, this week's episode of Dexter was a bore. Few storylines progressed and suspense was completely missing from "First Blood," as reviewed HERE.

But there's hope for this Sunday's installment, as Quinn has hired a new antagonist to investigate Dexter, and the following preview for "Everything is Illuminated" makes it apparent that Lumen really will cause problems for everyone's favorite serial killer.
