Carla Gugino to Report on Political Animals for USA

Ding! Ding! It's about to be on between and Sigourney Weaver.
The former (most recently seen on an episode of Justified, below) has been cast opposite the latter on Political Animals, USA Network's intriguing summer drama that centers around Weaver as a former First Lady and recent divorcee who is intent on maintaining the legacy of her famous family.
Gugino will portray a Pulitzer Prize–winning newspaper reporter focused on destroying the career of Weaver’s character.
Political Animals will also star James Wolk as Weaver’s son/chief of staff and Brittany Ishibashi (Parenthood) as her his fiancée.
